Riccardo Montali is a 24 year old South African student currently completing his masters in Fine Art with specialization in Sculpture. After ending a three year diploma through the University of Johannesburg: FADA division at the end of 2015, Riccardo moved to Italy where he passed a year exploring the Italian culture, language and human habits. After a year of explorations, Riccardo was selected by the Italian government for a full scholarship where he has began his master course at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna. 

After completing the first year of two, Cum Laude, Riccardo was then selected by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna to represent themselves and Italy at the University of Calafornia for the academic year 2017/2018. Riccardo was honored to be the first studio practicing artist from the Accademia di Belle Arti to be selcted by UC:Berkley. Riccardo will be be returning to Italy in 2019 to graduate from his course.
